Samuel Golpanian, MD is an award-winning, top rated Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Beverly Hills, CA. He received his undergraduate degree from New York University, graduating magna cum laude, and won the Founder’s Day Award for Honor Scholars Achievement. Dr. Golpanian received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. It ranks 4th among top U.S. medical schools for training the next generation of physicians—joining New York University School of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, according to Castle Connolly Medical.
He then completed a rigorous general surgery residency in Miami, FL at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, named the #1 hospital in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale metro area by U.S. News & World Report and the third-largest teaching hospital in the United States. His passion for learning and cutting-edge research inspired him to dedicate an additional 2 years of his medical journey at the Miami Interdisciplinary Stem Cell Institute researching stem-cell therapy for various disease processes. While there, he worked with the world-renown Dr. Joshua Hare, a leading expert on stem cells and cell-based therapy medicine.
Dr. Golpanian then completed his fellowship training in plastic & reconstructive surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, which has been recognized for America’s 250 Best Hospitals Award™. At Temple University and its affiliation with multiple hospital systems throughout the state, he had a strong exposure to cosmetic surgery and trained among multiple nationally and internationally acclaimed plastic surgeons.
He was also a Member of the House Staff Quality Council Committee during his fellowship. He is currently board certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
